It
is a Canadian tennis championship for professionals or aspiring professionals
which issues ATP Tour points for world ranking. It is presented right
after The Wimbledon tournament.

With $50 000
US + H in prize, it is ranked as the second most important tennis
tournament in Quebec after the Canadian Open. "H" refers to
free hospitality during the stay of the players. This brings the Challenger's
ATP points attribution to an equivalent prize value of $75, 000
CAD tournament.
